India’s first UPI-ATM has been launched in collaboration with Hitachi Payment Services and National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
With this White Label ATM (WLA), cash can now be withdrawn hassle-free, eliminating the need for physical ATMs. It will offer a ‘QR-based cashless withdrawal’ experience to customers associated with certain banks
According to NPCI, with this new facility they are committed to provide customers with greater convenience and security in ATM transactions. The launch of UPI ATMs will bring about a significant change in banking services, providing access to cash even in remote areas of India without the need for a physical card.
To use this service, customers need to scan the UPI QR code as per the selected amount, and then they need to confirm the transaction by entering their UPI PIN, after which they can withdraw their cash.

ભારતનું પ્રથમ UPI-ATM:

How UPI-ATM works:
- Name: Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW).
- Convenience: Cash withdrawal facility from any ATM without the need of physical card.
Cash Withdrawal Process:
- Select the amount you want to withdraw.
The UPI QR code of the selected amount will be shown. - Scan the QR code from the UPI app.
Confirm the transaction by entering the UPI PIN. - Cash will come out.
