Reliance Jio has confirmed that the all new all-in-one mobile tariff plans will be effective from December 6, with unlimited voice calls and bundled data. Reliance Jio says these plans will have a fair usage policy (FUP) for calls made by a user to friends and family who may be using the mobile services of another network. This will be in line with the Interconnect Usage Charge (IUC) rules that govern the telecom tariffs at the moment.
Jio will be introducing new ‘all-in-one’ plans with unlimited voice and data. These plans will have a fair usage policy for calls to other mobile networks. The new plans will be effective from 6th December 2019,” it said.
“Although, the new ‘all-in-one’ plans will be priced upto 40 per cent higher, staying true to its promise of being ‘customer-first’, Jio customers will get up to 300 per cent more benefits.”
The next Reliance Jio All-In-One-Plan costs Rs 399 offers 1.5GB per day, unlimited Jio to Jio calls, 2000 minutes of Jio to non-Jio calls for a period of two months.
Furthermore, another Reliance Jio All-In-One-Plan costs Rs 555 offers 1.5GB per day, unlimited Jio to Jio calls, 3000 minutes of Jio to non-Jio calls for a period of three months.
Finally, the last Reliance Jio All-In-One-Plan costs Rs 2199 offers 1.5GB per day, unlimited Jio to Jio calls, 12000 minutes of Jio to non-Jio calls for a period of twelve months.
According to new tariffs, Jio customers will have to pay Rs 555 for 84-day validity and 1.5 GB of data per day, which is 39 percent higher than the earlier plan of Rs 399 offering same features.
The company has raised the price of Rs 153 plan to Rs 199; Rs 198 plan to Rs 249; Rs 299 plan to Rs 349; Rs 349 plan to Rs 399; Rs 448 to Rs 599; Rs 1,699 plan to Rs 2199, and Rs 98 plan to Rs 129.
The Rs 199 plan is a month-long valid plan, which offers 1.5GB per day, and is about 25 percent cheaper than the plans of rivals offering similar benefits at a price of around Rs 249.
While Airtel and Vodafone Idea said that they would hike tariffs by up to 42 percent from 3 December 2019, Reliance Jio has stated that they will increase tariffs by up to 40 percent from 6 December 2019.
