Recruitment will be planned in the next 100 days
Shortly after taking over as Home Minister, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs held a meeting with the Chairmen of the Recruitment Board on Sunday, 19.9.2021 and gave detailed orders to all the Chairmen of the Recruitment Board to expedite the recruitment process.
An important decision has been taken by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s government to fill 27,847 vacancies in various police cadres under the state Home Department to expedite the recruitment process of the pending police department due to Kovid and to strengthen the law and order situation in the state, said Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi.

Minister of State for Home Affairs Harsh Sanghvi added that the state has non-armed police sub-inspectors, armed police sub-inspectors (platoon commanders), intelligence officers, unarmed assistant sub-inspectors, security guards and police technicians such as public transport and motor transport and wireless operators. The state government has taken an important decision to organize recruitment for an estimated 27,847 posts of Gram Rakshak Dal (Honorary) in the next 100 days.
The State Government has always been committed to provide employment to the educated youth of the State by providing employment opportunities to the educated youth of the State by organizing a recruitment process in a very short span of time. As a result of this decision, the law and order situation in the state will be strengthened and the recruitment of more personnel in the police force will provide better police service to the citizens of Gujarat and the steps taken by the state government to enhance the security of the state will be strengthened.
