There is good news for the farmer brothers across the country. The date when the 16th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be deposited in the food donor’s account has arrived. According to the official announcement on the PM Kisan website, the central government will deposit the 16th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the accounts of the farmer brothers by the end of February. According to the website, the transfer date of the 16th installment of PM Kisan has been fixed on February 28.
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana covers farmers in whose name arable land is registered. They benefit from this scheme. State and central government employees, institutional land holders, serving or retired officers and pensioners earning more than Rs 10,000 per month are not eligible for PM Kisan Yojana.

Money is given three times a year
Under PM Kisan, eligible farmers across the country are given ₹6,000 annually, divided into three installments of ₹2,000 each. Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed the 15th installment on November 15. Under that tranche, an amount of ₹18,000 crore reached more than 8 crore beneficiary farmers. PM Kisan amount is deposited in farmers account every 4 months.
