There have been major changes in Gujarat’s leadership in politics. Big news has come about the politics of Gujarat. State Chief Minister Vijay Bhai Rupani has resigned. For which the present cabinet including the Chief Minister has reached Gandhinagar to meet the Governor. He will also hold a short press conference at Raj Bhavan.
Only after Chief Minister Rupani sought the governor’s time did such discussions gain momentum that the cabinet would be expanded. Currently CM Rupani has reached Raj Bhavan. There was speculation that CM Rupani would resign.

It has been the specialty of our party that the responsibility entrusted to it by the party is faithfully carried out. The party is going to give me a new responsibility, for which I will fulfill whatever responsibility is given by the party. The people of Gujarat have gained faith and strength, our government has tried to serve the people.

After the resignation of Anandiben Patel as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani became the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 7 August 2016. Vijay Rupani was also the Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh from 19 years to 191. Elected as a member of Rajkot Municipal Corporation for 15 years and became the Chairman of Water Export Committee. In the following year, he became the chairman of the standing committee of Rajkot Municipal Corporation. He held the post from 19th to 19th. Meanwhile, in the 13th year, he was re-elected as the chairman of the standing committee of Rajkot Municipal Corporation. He also served as the mayor of Rajkot metropolis from 19th to 19th. Then in 19 years he became the department head of Gujarat state department of BJP. When Keshubhai Patel was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani took over the chairmanship of the Manifesto Committee. In the year 2006, he became the Chairman of Gujarat Tourism Department. He was a member of Rajya Sabha from 2009-2013. When Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Vijay Rupani became the four-time chairman of the BJP’s Gujarat division and the one-time chairman of the Gujarat Municipal Corporation’s finance department (2013). On February 17, 2016, Vijay Rupani became the president of BJP’s Gujarat division. Prior to this, the post R. C. Faldu was adamant. In August 2014, when Gujarat Assembly Speaker Vajubhai resigned as the Legislative Assembly of West Rajkot and became the Governor of Karnataka, the BJP-Dal nominated Vijay to fill the vacancy. Vijay Rupani won the election for the post of MLA on October 19, 2012 by a majority.
