Chandrayaan-3 News: : Once again a big update is coming out about Chandrayaan-3. It is emerging that the Vikram lander sent along with Chandrayaan-3 is heading towards the moon as per its proper pace. The lander module is approaching the moon on Friday after a successful deboosting. The lander module consists of a lander (Vikram) and a rover (Pragyan). Isro said that the health of the lander is normal and the lander is moving at the prescribed speed.

The deboosting process will take place again tomorrow.
The next few hours are going to be crucial for Chandrayaan-3. This is because, on August 20, the lander is scheduled to be deboosted again and put into low orbit. The orbit of the lander module has now been reduced to 113 km x 157 km. The Indian Space Research Organization posted on Twitter on Friday. The next deboosting process is scheduled to be completed on August 20 at around 2:00 PM IST.

Chandrayaan-3 will make a soft landing on the moon on August 23.
Chandrayaan-3’s propulsion module and lander module were separated on Thursday. Lander Vikram is preparing for a soft landing on the moon on August 23 at 5.47 pm. India will create history when Vikram touches the South Pole of the Moon and will become the fourth country in the world to do so. So far only America, Russia and China have successfully landed their landers on the lunar surface. Chandrayaan-3 was successfully launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota on 14 July.

The camera mounted on the lander module of the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft captured amazing images of the moon. ISRO shared these pictures on Twitter on Friday. Some of these images were taken by the Lander Position Detection Camera (LPDC) on August 15. While some images were captured by Lander Imager (LI) Camera-1 on August 17. This shows craters on the moon’s surface.
