This is how money can be withdrawn from PF Account at home

But there are times in life when it becomes very necessary to withdraw PF money (EPF Withdrawal Online). An employee can withdraw money from a PF account to buy a home or to educate their children or for other tasks such as during a medical emergency. Withdrawing money from a PF account is very easy. You can withdraw money through online PF account sitting at home.

Let us know what the process is.

Step-1

First you have to log-in by entering your UAN, password and captcha code on EPFO’s Unified Member Portal.

Step-2

Now you have to go to the ‘Online Services’ tab and click on the ‘Claim (Form-31, 19, 10C & 10D)’ option.

Step-3

A new page will open on the screen. Here you have to enter the bank account number linked by your UAN and click on ‘Verify’.

Step-4

After confirming the bank account information, you will have to confirm the terms and conditions made by EPFO.

Step-5

Now you have to click on the Proceed For Online Claim option

Step-6

Now the reason for withdrawing money from PF account from the list present on your screen will have to be ignored. In this list you will find the same option for which you are eligible.

Step-7

Now you have to write your full address and upload a scanned copy of the check or bank passbook.

Step-8

Now you have to click on ‘Get Aadhaar OTP’ to check the terms and conditions.

Step-9

You will then get OTP on your mobile number linked with your support.

Step-10

You will have to enter this OTP and then click on submit.

Your request will be entered on the portal

This way your request to withdraw money from PF account will be entered on the portal. You can also check the status of your claim by going to the portal. Money will be transferred to your account after the claim is passed.
