The lockdown in the country lasted two more weeks
A lockdown was imposed in India on March 23 following the global corona epidemic that started in December. The three phases of the March 23 lockdown ended today and the government today announced the fourth phase.
The Modi government has announced to extend the lockdown 4.0 till May 31. It is believed that the Home Ministry will issue an advisory in a few minutes with some concessions.
Importantly, even before the central government announced the extension of the lockdown, Maharashtra, Punjab and Tamil Nadu have announced the extension of the lockdown till May 31.

- 25th March 14th April
- 15th April 3rd May
- May 3rd to May 17th
- May 17th to May 31st
