It may be mentioned that the Chief Minister inaugurated the 15th property show organized by Gayhead-Credai through video conference from Gandhinagar.
In this difficult time of Corona’s transition, the first such virtual property show across the country is being held by CREDAI from 18th to 20th October.
The planning is done with the objective of ‘get home sitting at home’
The Chief Minister lauded this innovative experiment in which people can participate online at their convenience in this property show with the objective of ‘Get a Home at Home’. At the same time, the Chief Minister said that Gujarat has continued to move forward with the mantra of neither Zukna Hai, nor Rukna Hai, showing the zeal to turn the Corona disaster into an opportunity.

The dream of a people’s home in the state comes true
Notably, CM Vijaybhai Rupani said that the government has also given importance to Ease of Living as a practice of Ease of Doing Business to make people’s dream of a home come true, get comfortable and quality housing in the state. Vijaybhai Rupani said that the state government is committed to make Gujarat livable, enjoyable as well as pollution free and meet the basic needs.
At the same time, the Chief Minister added that this government has made simplification and freedom by making quick decisions with transparency and honesty and by removing the intricacies including the rules of GDCR.
He also added that the rules and regulations have been adopted not to give tension to the people but to bring peace and freedom. The Chief Minister expressed the view that Gujarat would take the lead through the Affordable Housing Sector in the dream of Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi to provide a home to every person by 2018.
Vijaybhai Rupani also made some announcements on the occasion to give more impetus and help to such an affordable housing sector.
Permission will be given to agricultural land
The Chief Minister also announced that the government would allow lands for affordable housing under the Agricultural Land Act ૬૩ AAA so that more land could be easily made available for affordable housing and the dream of a common man could be fulfilled.
FSI will be taken in a uniform manner across the state
Vijaybhai Rupani, in another announcement to boost the construction sector, said that currently chargeable FSI is taken at the time of construction approval. But as the construction part with such a chargeable FSI was to be done later, the Chief Minister expressed sympathy for the representations of the construction industry and said that the FSI would be taken in a uniform manner across the state.
