Zee Media / Bureau: A cabinet meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. In which a big decision has been taken to start reopen schools all over Gujarat. Regarding this, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that it has been decided to start teaching of Std. 10 and 12 and Post Graduate, Under Graduate from January 11. This decision will be applicable to all Board, Self Supporting, Granted, Non Granted schools in the State of Gujarat. At the same time, the examination of students from standard 3 to 9 will be taken. These students will not be given mass promotion. The state government considered the SOP of the central government in this regard. All SOPs have been sent to all the institutions. Schools will then have to strictly follow all SOPs. Social distance, mask, hygiene must be observed. The Gujarat government has also announced that students will not get mass promotion. So that mass promotion will not be given in any standard in Gujarat.

Mass promotion to students directly has been denied. However, students are required to come to school. At the same time students will be allowed to come to the school after the consent of the parents. Thus, the government’s decision was eagerly awaited. With this decision of Gujarat government, schools and colleges will open in Gujarat from January 11.

Mass promotion will not be given

Announcing the mass promotion, the Education Minister said that the exams will be taken as much as we teach, students will not be given mass promotions. Nowhere in Gujarat is there such a thing about bogus degrees. Checked in every university. The investigation is ongoing. Strict action will be taken if anyone is found guilty.

Online education will also continue

The Education Minister said that the attendance of students in the school is not compulsory. In addition to this teaching work, online education will also continue. A phased decision will be made to start other classes. Other announcements will be made in phases in the coming days.
