Can’t do internet banking for two days

State Bank of India has issued a new notification to its 440 million customers. It has informed that 7 types of services including internet banking will be disrupted for some hours on 4th and 5th September, which is very important for you to know about.

The SBI said in a tweet from its official Twitter account that maintenance activities would run from 11.35 pm on September 4 to 1.35 pm on September 5. Meanwhile, Internet Banking, YONO, YONO Lite, YONO Business and IMPS and UPI services are not available.

Services were also closed in July

Earlier, the SBI had issued similar warnings for July 16 and 17, after which the services were not available from 10:45 pm to 1:15 pm (150 minutes). According to information provided by SBI, these services were disrupted to upgrade the UPI platform to improve the customer experience. The service was resumed as soon as the operation was completed.

3.5 crore users of SBI Yono

We would like to inform you that every time this information is given to the customers in advance by the bank so that they can do their important work on time. According to the official website, SBI YONO currently has a total of 35 million registered users. With such a large number of customers, SBI does maintenance work at night to minimize the impact on customers. The total number of UPI users of SBI is more than 13.5 crore. Of these, 85 million are internet banking customers and 19 million are mobile banking users.
