Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had announced a waiver of 100 units of electricity bill to the public a month ago. Consumers consuming less than 200 units in the state will be exempted from the electricity bill of 100 units. Then today his circular has been published. The state government will have to bear a burden of Rs 600 crore. 92 lakh consumers in the state will benefit.
