As the market price of subsidized cooking gas cylinders decreases, domestic consumers of subsidized domestic cylinders will have to pay Rs 637 instead of Rs 737.50 for a bottle of culinary gas from July 1. This information was given in a list announced on Sunday to the public sector company Indian Oil Corporation.

The consumer gets 12 cylinders a year. Consumers will get Rs 142.50 per cylinder subsidy after the fall in LPG cylinder prices, the effective price of the cylinder will be Rs 494.35.
