Keeping in view the growing case of Corona virus, dedicated Covid hospital and district headquarters in the metros of the state have employed 100 bed covid hospital for treatment of coronary patients. A total of 31 private hospitals with a capacity of 3100 beds in 26 districts of the state are serving as designated covid hospital under Covid-19.
In this, Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani has decided to get the benefit of treatment of Covid-19 to all designated hospitals free of cost during this global epidemic. In addition, if the Collector of that district recognizes such more designated private hospital in his district, then the coronary patient will be treated free of cost in those hospitals.
According to the Chief Minister’s decision, all such indoor and outdoor patients will be treated free of treatment and medicines at such a coveted corona designated private hospital. Coronary patients will be given free tea, snacks, two-time meals and medicines free of charge for up to 5 days after discharge from the hospital after treatment
The state government has provided PPE for such a Covid Hospital. Kit will provide N95 mask, triple layer mask and hydroxy chloroquine tablet. In addition, if a health worker on duty at such a designated hospital dies due to coronary infection, as per the state government announcement, Rs. 25 lakh will be provided to the health worker. The estimated monthly cost of such 31 designated Covid hospital is Rs. 8 crore will be spent by the state government.
With 38 of the highest corona virus cases in the state in Ahmedabad, the Municipal Commissioner is announcing the names of positive patients one after another. After the names of 29 patients were released on April 1, the names of the 7 coronas registered today have also been announced. Individuals in contact with a positive person do not cooperate. This has led to such a decision. If a positive person comes in contact, the home can be quarantined and reported to the government.
