Big relief to Rupani government’s medical students
The state government has taken a big decision today regarding the fees of medical students following the Corona epidemic in the state. Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Bhai Patel said that in view of the prevailing Corona situation in the state, the state government has taken a student-friendly decision to provide relief to the students studying in the state’s medical and para-medical colleges in four installments.
A total of 35151 students of the state will get the benefit of this relief
State Government Granted and Self Finance Colleges were found.
And B.Sc. A total of 4 students of Nursing, Physiotherapy and a total of 1308 students of Medical-Dental, Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic Colleges and a total of 2121 students of the state will get the benefit of this relief.
Benefit to students of 28 medical colleges including 6 government medical colleges in the state
The Deputy Chief Minister added that the benefit of this decision has been extended to 3 government medical colleges, 2 GMERS in the state. Colleges, 3 Municipal Corporation Colleges, 11 Self Finance Colleges Found A total of 30 students studying in 3 Medical Colleges and out of Dental Colleges, 3 Government Colleges and 1 GMERS. A total of 12 students studying in society and 1 corporation run and 3 self finance colleges. Students studying in Ayurvedic colleges of the state will also get relief in which 6 government and 3 self-financed Ayurvedic colleges will be found. A total of 203 students studying in 6 colleges and 210 students studying in government and self-financed homeopathic colleges will also get this benefit.
Fee relief from the July session
The Deputy Chief Minister added that MBBS, Dental, Government Ayurvedic College, Homoeopathic College, Nursing College, Physiotherapy College and other colleges running para-medical courses like Government Colleges, GMERS. Students studying in society-run colleges, corporation-run colleges and self-financed colleges have been given a waiver in the fees to be paid from the July session as a special case considering the unusual circumstances of the Koro epidemic.
Students will be able to pay the entire fee in four installments
5% of the total fee has to be paid in each installment, first 5% of the fee has to be paid by 30th September, second installment by 31st October, third installment by 30th November and fourth installment by 31st December. It is worth mentioning here that students who are financially capable and want to pay the entire semester fee together will also be able to pay the entire fee together.
