If you have a four wheeler or two wheeler vehicle you should get your vehicle a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate. If you created it, you should also check its expiration date and renew it.

All vehicles are required to obtain a valid PUC certificate

Implemented the revised Motor Vehicle Act of September 1, 2019

The amended Motor Vehicles Act of September 1, 2019 came into force in Delhi. After which the penalty was increased for PUC certificate which is not valid. Vehicle insurance policy should not be renewed till PUC certificate is issued

Let me tell you, in July 2018, the Supreme Court instructed the insurance companies to express concern over the rising vehicle pollution. The apex court said the auto insurance policy should not be renewed until the PUC certificate is issued.
