Lockdown 4: Government’s big decision regarding driving license, now you will get this big relief!

The entire country is currently battling the Corona virus. There is a nationwide lockdown which is in its fourth phase. However, in Lockdown 4, some necessary concessions have been made by the Central Government and the State Governments. So that public life can get back on track.

Meanwhile, the central government gave an important information on Sunday. According to media reports, the central government on Sunday extended the deadline for motor vehicle-related documents to July 31. This means that after February 1, 2020, if the validation process of a document cannot be completed, no penalty or late fee has to be paid. The Ministry of Road Transport and National Highways has issued a directive in this regard.

According to the report, the official statement said that no penalty or late fee would be charged till July 31, 2020 if any work related to a vehicle is pending or not renewed in the current crisis situation. Earlier, the ministry had extended the deadline for documents required under the Vehicle Act, 1988 and Central Motor Vehicle Rules 1989 on March 30, 2020. An earlier statement had said that documents which have expired and expired after February 1, 2020, will be considered valid till June 30.
