Benefits Of Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana
The Gujarat government have come out with this scheme to help all of the poor businessmen who’s businesses have been struck by the Coronavirus disease and they are not able to revive their businesses. The Gujarat government will give one lakh rupees loan on 2% interest will be which will be a great deal for all of those businessmen who want to revive their business after this lockdown. This deal as said by the concerned authorities of Gujarat government is far better than all of the other states incentive of only rupees 5000.
Implementation Of The Scheme
Around 10 lakh recipients will be given the advance of Rs. 1 lakh each from banks at just 2% yearly enthusiasm to begin their lives once again under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana. All the credits will be given based on application and no assurance will be required. Gujarat Government will pay the remaining 6% enthusiasm on credit to banks. The residency of such advances will be of 3 years and re-instalment of head and premium will begin following a half year of approval of advance sum. State Government have taken this decision after having a conversation with the banks.

Gujaratgovt. has announced Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana in which lower middle income group can avail guarantee-free loan of upto Rs. 1 lakh from banks. This loan amount will be provided at an annual interest rate of 2% as it seeks to help them get back to normal life disrupted by the Coronavirus lockdown. Moreover, govt. will also pay another 6% interest to banks giving loans under the scheme.

Just like other loan schemes, the state govt. of Gujarat will invite Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana online application form. These applications may be invited through the Gujarat govt. official website or a new dedicated portal. This AGSY scheme aims to benefit small businessmen and cross section of people falling under the lower middle income group. As per the Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojna, loan tenure will be of 3 years and payment of installments will begin after 6 months of loan disbursal. Earlier on 13 May 2020, central govt. has launched Aatm Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (self reliant India campaign).
Who are Aatm Nirbhar GujaratSahay Yojana Beneficiaries
The state government has launched Atmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for the following group of people as mentioned below:-

Various other states like Delhi has declared assistance of Rs. 5,000 or so to such people. The state govt. of Gujarat has an opinion that such a small amount will not bring their life back of normal.
Collateral Free Loans
Approximately 10 lakh such beneficiaries will be given loan of Rs. 1 lakh each from banks at just 2% annual interest to start their lives afresh under Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana. All the loans will be provided on the basis of application and no guarantee will be required. Gujarat govt. will pay remaining 6% interest on loan to banks.
The tenure of such loans will be of 3 years and re-payment of principal and interest will start after six months of sanction of loan amount. The state government has come up with this scheme after discussion with district, scheduled and cooperative banks. Furthermore, the state government will come out with detailed information on AGSY in a few days and loan will be made available to all those who are in need of it.

Application forms to get loan upto Rs.1-lakh under ‘Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana’ to be made available free of cost from all branches of urban and district cooperative banks and credit societies across the state from May 21 onwards and will be accepted until August 31.
