Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani is known for his compassion towards animals and decisive governance. Keeping in mind the welfare of the cattle owners of the state and making a path for Atmanirbhar Gujarat, the state government has announced a financial aid scheme for the registered Panjarapoles of the state.

How the benefits can be availed?

Only those panjarapoles which possess land as per the revenue record are entitled to the benefits of the scheme. Chief Minister Shri Vijay believes in transparent and full proof administration so that benefits reach effectively. Therefore, the online application facility is available through I Khedut portal.

In order to get the benefits of the scheme, interested parties will have to submit print out of online application along with land record 7/12,8-A 6 copies, Photograph of the land taken from GPS app with date and time to Gau Seva and Gauchar board within 30 days.

Benefitting organizations will be required to maintained the record of the fodder production and send it to Gau seva and Gauchar Vikas Board at the end of the year.

With the aim of transparent administration, CM Shri Vijay Rupani has instructed that the detail work with the help of GPS app for the photographs of the land is done before initiation of the task. Such photographs with the time and date mentioned in it will be required during claim submission.

Any other assistance component received by panjarapoles in last three years by Gau seva and Gauchar Vikas board will not receive the same in this scheme.

For storage construction, registered panjarapoles can avail benefit from the grant of Hon’ble member of Parliament or member of legislative assemble of their area on their own.

Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani has clearly instructed that for the cultivation of land among panjarapoles, irrigation canals and other water sources should be used in priority.

Due to sensible approach and compassion in heart for animals, CM Shri Vijay Rupani’s action will make sure that animals don’t strive for food during tough time and they get easy access to fodder.

 

Scheme Benefits:

Registered Panjarapole with1-10 hector land in possession will get assistance upto Rs. 10 lakh for tube well.

  • Assistance of Rs. 8 Lakh for solar electric panel with the aim to reduce electricity bill by promoting solar energy.
  • Assistance of Rs 1.25 Lakh for chaff cutter.
  • Panjarapoles with 4-10 hector land will get maximum assistance of Rs. 3.50 Lakh for green fodder baler so that grass can be stored in the form of bale.
  • Assistance of Rs. 5 Lakh for sprinkler irrigation system.
  • Assistance ranging from Rs 35 thousand to 1.05 Lakh for rain gun irrigation system.

It is important that during natural calamities, there is no scarcity of fodder for animals. With this sensible aim in mind, CM Shri Vijay Rupani has decided to provide these financial benefits to registered panjarapoles and expressed his sensibility for a larger cause.

Delegations from Panjapoles requested CM Shri Vijay Rupani regarding scarcity of fodder during famine and other aspects of trouble for the management of animal lives. Shri Vijay Rupani, who believes in to live, and let others live, expressed his compassion through this remarkable scheme for registered Panjarapoles.

CM has decided that registered Panjarapoles with 1-10 hectare land can get assistance up to Rs. 10 Lakh for tube well and can make their grass production.

In order to reduce the electricity bill cost with the use of solar energy, it is decided thatt registered panjarapoles with 1-10 hectare land can get assistance up to 8 lakh Rs. for solar electric panel.

 

Panjarapoles with 4-10 hector land will get maximum assistance of Rs. 3.50 lakh for green fodder baler and panjarapoles with 1-10 hector land will get assistance of Rs. 1.25 Lakh for chaff cutter.Green fodder baler is used to make bales of grass fodder so that it saves space in storage and can be easily transported from one spot to another for daily usage.

Government aims at making panjarapoles Atmanirbhar by making their land fertile. It is important that water reaches to the land so that fodder production can be scaled up. With the scheme for pipeline for irrigation, the benefit of Rs. 30 thousand for one hectare and Rs.20 thousand for each hectare land will be provided. Maximum assistance of Rs. 2.10 Lakh can be availed under the scheme.

Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani also believes in the calculated use of water for fodder production so that water wastage can be reduced. With this approach, panjarapoles opting for Sprinkler irrigation system for grass production will get Rs.50 thousand benefit per hectare with maximum assistance up to Rs 5 Lakh . For Rain gun irrigation system, benefits go from Rs.35 thousand for 1-3 hectare area,Rs. 70 thousand Rs for 4-7 hectare and Rs. 1.05 lakh for the area of 8-10 hectare.

The state government has allotted 100 Crore Rs for this purpose in the 2020-21 budget. It is important that registered panjarapole get benefit of this scheme through transparent administration. For this, digital arrangements are made for the process. Online applications can be made on I Khedut portal for this purpose.

Now registered panjarapoles can make their land cultivable and with the availability of water, fertilizer and seeds, the land can be used for fodder production for the animals
